This is why we need a trove account! Our group has managed to acquire some accounts, but still, there is a need for more.

Types of trove account

There are two types of Trove Accounts: Basic and Prime. All the requests for Basic accounts will be dealt with first, then we shall move on to requests for Prime accounts.

Requirements for a request of a trove account:

1. A short explanation of why you need a trove account (maximum 200 words long).

2. Prove that you are not an anonymous person or group, by sending us your website or blog link. The blog/website should contain some information about the animal rights/welfare movement.

For example, some books contain information about how to spread the message of animal rights and stop the cruelty. Other books might point towards ways in which people can help you achieve your goals.

2) Prime Trove Account that allows access to thousands of digitized books and journals, many of them contain information relevant to the animal rights movement, such as: –

• Encyclopedia Britannica (1801 to 1845)
• Burke’s Landed Gentry of Great Britain (1836 edition)

Please note that we will not share the list of ebooks and journals that are part of a trove account. We provide accounts on an ad hoc basis, which means we may start work on your request today and finish it tomorrow or we may take a week to provide you with the account. We really do not know how long it will take for us to complete your request, but we promise that we will not waste your time and effort by delaying the process needlessly. Sometimes, due to work schedules and other engagements, we can only provide accounts during weekends, so if it has been more than a week since you sent us your request, then please send us another reminder.

You can also verify your trove account by searching for the books on Google Books ( https://books.google.com/ ). If you find the book, after typing its name in the search box, then it means that your trove account is genuine. If you do not find the book on Google Books then, unfortunately, your account is not genuine and we are unable to help you.

Please note that it is prohibited to share any information regarding our accounts with anyone else. We know how many people are after this information, so doing so would put us in a very difficult situation which could even result in our accounts being banned.
